Laks has recently completed the construction of our home, so our feedback is based on our fresh experiences. In summary, he took ownership of every aspect of the construction, often exceeding expectations by offering different perspectives to the owner. His goal was to create a contemporary home using the best resources without unnecessarily exceeding the budget. He goes to great lengths to save money and keep the project within budget, demonstrating an almost proprietary interest in the home. He makes you come up with options without compromising, a rare quality that shows his commitment to providing the best for the homeowner.
We highly recommend him. His work ethics and integrity are rare in business, and we appreciated them throughout the build journey. Specifically, he excelled in several areas:
1. Excavation: Our site is on a mountain, requiring a significant amount of excavation. Laks’s creativity helped us save a lot of money without compromising on building a great flat bed for the home.
2. Landscaping: While landscaping was not part of the original scope, Lakshmi was passionate getting best views for the home and completed it for us. This eliminated engaging another architect and additional cost.
3. Attention to detail: Lakshmi goes to great lengths to ensure that views from inside the home are amazing. Even after the architecture was approved, he spent time re-thinking without changing the overall cost. For example, our window positioning was changed to make it more appealing.
